Santa rides in a sleigh... JESUS CHRIST makes His chariot of clouds and walks on the wind. Psalms 104:3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
Santa comes but once a year... JESUS CHRIST is an very present help, and He gives you benefits every single day. Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies... JESUS CHRIST supplies all your needs. Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited...
JESUS CHRIST stands at your door and knocks, and then enters your heart when
invited.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at
the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will
come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.You have to wait in line to see Santa... JESUS CHRIST is with you always. Matthew 28:20 ...lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Santa lets you sit on his lap... JESUS CHRIST holds you in His mighty, gentle hand. John 10:28-30 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
Santa knows if you've been bad or good... JESUS CHRIST knew you before you were born. Not only does He know your name and address, He knows your history and future. He knows your thoughts. He even knows how many hairs are on your head. He knows everything about you, and He loves you still and blesses you! Psalms 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Psalms 139:2-6 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Santa knows if you've been sleeping or awake... JESUS CHRIST not only knows when you've been sleeping or awake, He is your keeper and protector at all times. Psalms 121:5 and 8 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand...The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly... JESUS CHRIST the bread of life that will satisfy the hungry soul and will give you eternal life. John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Santa says "You better not cry"... JESUS CHRIST wants you to cast all your cares upon Him, and He comforts the broken hearted. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Psalms 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Santa may make you chuckle but... JESUS CHRIST gives you joy that is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 ...for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Santa's little helpers make toys... JESUS CHRIST makes you a new creature, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Santa lives at the North Pole and doesn't want people there... JESUS CHRIST is preparing a mansion for you to someday have you bodily with Him forever. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Santa's helpers are elves... JESUS CHRIST's helpers are angels who minister. Hebrews 1:13-14 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Santa gives you gifts if you've been good... JESUS CHRIST loved you even when you were still in your sins. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree... JESUS CHRIST God's gift to you and died on a tree... the cross. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
