Helpful Tidbits
Interesting? Interesting how $10 looks so big when we take it to church, but so small when we take it to the store. Interesting how big 60 minutes are when serving God, but how small when fishing, or playing golf or basketball, or computer games. Interesting how laborious it is to read a chapter in the Bible, but how easy it is to read 200 to 300 pages of a best selling novel. Interesting how we believe what a person or newspaper says, but question what the Bible says. Interesting how we can't think of anything to say when we pray, but don't have any difficulty thinking of things to gossip about to a friend. Interesting how we need 2 or 3 weeks to fit a church event into our schedule, but have no problem adjusting for a social event at the last minute. Interesting how we get thrilled when a football game goes into extra-time, but complain when a sermon is longer than the regular time. Interesting how people scramble to get a front seat at any game, but scramble to get a back seat at church services. Interesting how difficult it is to share the gospel with others, but how simple it is to pass on bad news. Interesting how everyone wants to go to heaven, provided they don't have to believe, think, say, or do anything. Interesting, isn't it? Or is it Interesting at all? Author unknown ca |

Keep
Busy! "Keep busy! It's the cheapest kind of medicine there is on this earth, and one of the best. Don't allow yourself to become upset by the small things that come your way; life is too short to be little! Think and act cheerfully, and you will feel cheerful..." (Author Unknown) Titus 3:14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
