SUNDAY:
That
he might be holy; a man of prayer, mature
in the Lord and growing in his knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who
is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring
fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in
all the will of God.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever.
Amen. That
he would seek God with his whole heart,
walking in God's word and
growing in his dependence on Christ.

MONDAY:
That
he might learn to take every thought captive
and not be conformed to the world's thinking.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to
this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye
may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will
of God.
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth

TUESDAY:
That
he might have physical strength in his daily responsibilites and that
he would be strengthened spiritually in the Lord.
Isaiah 40:31 But
they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall
mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and
they shall walk, and not faint.
Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory,
to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That
his "self-image" will be a Biblical image.
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man
that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he
ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every
man the measure of faith.
That
he would have godly friends to encourage
and help him.
Prvoverbs 27:9 Ointment and perfume rejoice
the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
10 Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go
into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better
is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
WEDNESDAY:
That
the Lord would give his wisdom to lead his family -
physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Ephesians 1:17 That
the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you
the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes
of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the
hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power
to us-ward who believe,
Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring
them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
That the Lord would enable him to be a faithful provider for his family.
1 Timothy 5:8 But
if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house,
he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
THURSDAY:
That
he might be a purposeful man, not reactionary,
with well thought through and prayed through goals in life.
Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light
in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit
is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable
unto the Lord...17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what

he would stand firm against the wiles
of the devil, resist Satan in all circumstances,
and not be deceived into unbelief or sin.

FRIDAY:
That
he will resist temptation.
Mark 14:38 Watch ye
and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly

ready, but the flesh
is weak.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common
to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above
that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it. 14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved,
flee from idolatry. That
the fruit of the Spirit would be
exhibited more and more in his life.
Galatians 5:22 But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,

he might learn to love as God commanded.

the Lord would protect him and keep him.

he would redeem the time well.
