40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and
set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new
song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and
shall trust in the LORD. 2
Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
When
we get rid of an old thing because of correction from the Lord, we ought to
replace it with a good thing. This is a Biblical principle. Therefore we
offer replacements for the typical memorization items, such as "The Gettysburg
Address," reading material, and whatever else may need to be replaced. Poems
